Who we are

Apna Yojana is a privately run website that explains Indian government schemes and offers free calculators. You can reach the editor at contact@apnayojana.com or through the contact page.

Content and how it is produced

Guides are drafted with the help of AI tools and published only after each figure has been checked against the official source named on the page. Every page shows the date it was last checked. Despite that care, rules change, so treat a page as a guide to the official source, not a replacement for it. Where a page and the official source disagree, the official source is right. Our editorial policy explains the process.

Using the calculators

The calculators are free planning tools. They run in your browser, and the figures you enter are not sent to us. Their results are estimates that depend on the numbers you enter and the formula stated on the page, and they are not a statement of what you will be paid, taxed or charged.

No government affiliation

Apna Yojana is an independent, privately operated website with no affiliation to any government body. We do not act on behalf of any department and cannot process applications.

The text, structure, calculators and design of this site belong to Apna Yojana, except where content is quoted from government sources, which remain the property of the respective departments. You may link to our pages and quote short extracts with attribution.

We link to government portals and other external sites, and we display third-party advertising. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Your dealings with any third party are between you and them.

Messages you send us

If you email us a correction or a question, you allow us to use what you tell us to fix or improve the site. We will not publish your name or email address without asking you. See the privacy policy for how we handle the message itself.

Beware of fraud

Registration for government schemes on official portals is free. We never ask you for money, documents or identity numbers, and nobody acting for this site will. If someone uses our name to ask you for any of these, do not pay, and tell us.

We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or remove content at any time.

If a term cannot be enforced

If part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failing to enforce a term on one occasion does not waive it.
