Not a government website. This page explains the process; the official portal at pmkisan.gov.in is where anything is actually done, and it is free to use.
As of 7 September 2026 the Government of India has not announced a date for the 24th instalment. Any page, video or WhatsApp forward giving one is guessing. This page is updated the day a date is announced.

Where things stand

Twenty-three instalments of ₹2,000 have been released since PM-KISAN began in February 2019. The most recent, the 23rd, was released by the Prime Minister from Tarakeswar in Hooghly district, West Bengal, on 20 June 2026 — around ₹18,880 crore to nearly 9.44 crore farmers.

The 24th instalment is the next one due. The government announces each release through the Press Information Bureau, usually a few days before the Prime Minister transfers the money at a public event. Until that announcement appears, there is no date.

What the pattern suggests — and why it is only a pattern

The scheme pays three instalments a year, and the table shows releases landing roughly every four months: February–March, June–August, and October–November. On that rhythm the 24th instalment would be expected in the last quarter of 2026.

Treat that as context, not a date. Releases have shifted by weeks depending on when the Prime Minister's event is scheduled — the 20th came in early August, the 23rd in late June. The only reliable signal is the official announcement.

Three things to fix before the next release

Every release note repeats the same condition: farmers must have completed e-KYC and had their land details seeded. Check all three flags now.

  1. Open Know Your Status

Enter your registration number and OTP. The page shows three flags — e-KYC, land seeding, and Aadhaar–bank seeding — and lists every instalment paid to you.

  2. Turn any No into a Yes

e-KYC: OTP, face authentication in the app, or biometrics at a CSC. Land seeding: your district nodal officer with your land record. Bank seeding: your bank branch, with Aadhaar, to enable DBT.

  3. Check the account you seeded is still active

A closed or dormant account fails the transfer even when every flag is Yes. If you changed banks, seed the new account through the correction option on the portal.

How you will know the date is real

Three sources, in this order. The Press Information Bureau publishes a release naming the date and the venue, typically within the week before. The PM-KISAN portal reflects the payment against your registration number in Know Your Status once it is transferred. Your bank sends the credit message.

Two things are not sources: a YouTube thumbnail with a date on it, and a forwarded message. Both have circulated wrong dates before every single instalment.

On 20 June 2026, from Tarakeswar in Hooghly district, West Bengal. Around ₹18,880 crore was transferred to nearly 9.44 crore farmers.

I did not get the 23rd instalment. Will I get it later?
