What each Odisha scheme pays and who qualifies

What you get. ₹10,000 a year in two equal installments of ₹5,000, credited on International Women's Day (8 March) and Rakhi Purnima, for five years from 2024-25 to 2028-29 — ₹50,000 in all — into the woman's Aadhaar-seeded, DBT-enabled bank account. In each Gram Panchayat and urban local body, the 100 women who make the most digital transactions receive an extra ₹500.

Who it is for. Women who are permanent residents of Odisha, aged 21 to 60, from families covered by an NFSA or State Food Security Scheme ration card — or, where the family has no such card, with annual income of ₹2.5 lakh or less.

Eligibility conditions

  • You must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
  • You must be aged between 21 and 60 — a date of birth between 2 July 1964 and 1 July 2003.
  • Married and unmarried women are both eligible.
  • Your family should hold an NFSA or SFSS ration card. If it does not, you can still apply if family income is not more than ₹2.5 lakh a year.
  • You need an Aadhaar-seeded, DBT-enabled bank account in your own name.

Who is not eligible

  • Women who pay income tax.
  • Current or former Members of Parliament or of the Legislative Assembly.
  • Regular or contractual employees of the central or state government, and those drawing a pension after retirement from government service.
  • Women already receiving a pension or scholarship of ₹1,500 or more a month, or ₹18,000 or more a year, under any government scheme.

Subhadra pays ₹5,000 twice a year: the first installment on Rakhi Purnima and the second on International Women's Day, 8 March, under the scheme guideline. The 5th installment was disbursed on 28 August 2026. By that calendar the next falls on 8 March 2027; no date has been announced yet.
