How do you apply for PM Surya Ghar?

Register on the national rooftop solar portal
Go to pmsuryaghar.gov.in and register with your state, electricity distribution company (discom) and consumer number, plus your mobile number and email.
Log in and apply for feasibility approval
Sign in with your consumer number and mobile number, then submit the rooftop solar application form. Your discom checks technical feasibility before you install anything.
Get the system installed by a registered vendor
Once feasibility is approved, choose a vendor registered with your discom on the portal. Using a registered vendor is what keeps you eligible for the subsidy.
Apply for net metering
After installation, submit the plant details on the portal and apply for a net meter. The discom inspects the installation and installs the meter.
Submit bank details and receive the subsidy
When the discom issues the commissioning certificate, submit your bank account details and a cancelled cheque on the portal. The subsidy is credited to your account.
